The Role of the Governing Board
When the Charter Petition is approved by both the Atlanta Public Schools and the Georgia Department of Education, the Founding Board will transition into the Governing Board to implement the plan for The Intown Academy.
The Board will oversee the operations of The Intown Academy to ensure effective organizational planning and that adequate resources are available when needed, to enhance The Intown Academy's image and to support the management of The Intown Academy.
We are currently accepting nominations for members of the Governing Board. Please send your suggestions to us at: info@intownacademy.org.
