APPLICATION PROCESS

On April 30, 2010, Open Enrollment ended. We received a high level of
interest and have determined that
a lottery will not be required to
accommodate all the students who have completed our Enrollment
Application and verified their residency in the Atlanta Public school system.
Parents/Guardians who have completed our Enrollment Application and Residence Affidavit during the Open Enrollment period (ended April 30, 2010), will only need to complete the Policy Packet.
We strongly encourage you to submit your completed Policy Packet as
soon as possible to complete your child(ren)'s enrollment at The Intown
Academy.
Parents/Guardians who wish to now enroll their child(ren) after the Open
Enrollment period (May 1, 2010, and later) will have to complete:
Enrollment at the school is now on a first-come, first-serve basis.
All grade levels will continue to enroll students until capacity for
each grade level is reached and then a wait-list will be established.
To complete the Policy Packet and finalized your child(ren)'s enrollment at The Intown Academy, you will need to
bring these documents to the Enrollment Office for each child:
- Social Security Card (optional)
- Current Immunization Records (GA Form 3231)
- Current Eye, Ear and Dental (GA Form 3300)
- Last Report Card (Pre-K evaluation forms if new Kindergartner)
- Current disciplinary records from previous school (does not apply to kindergartners)
- Copy of IEP or 504 (for special education students only)
- Proof of Legal Guardianship
And, you will also need to prepare these forms:

- Home Language Survey
- Student Services Intake
- Medical and Emergency Information (2)
- Student Release Information
- Media Release
- Request for Records
- Family Contract
- Student Contract
